| Fashion Records is proud to present the first official release of a stunning tune from the early 1980’s that has been recognised as a UK Roots classic.
This song was voiced at Fashion’s A-Class Studio by a young Wayne Marshall to be cut on dubplate with exclusive live mixes so that each sound system would have a different mix to its rivals. For forty years these dubplate mixes have been swopped between sound men and collectors, and although there was never any intention to make these tunes available to the public the time has now come for a legitimate release. ‘Give Thanks & Praise’ has brand new mixes from the original tape and comes with a previously unheard instrumental version and a dub mix.
