After the release of their EP “SEED” in June 2020, Pinnacle Sound comes back with a new EP extracted from the same recording sessions that took place during 2019 and 2020. When “This Is The Way” was made, reggae roots was flowing deeply inside the Bat Records studio. This is a meeting between Ocman Dread, Ras Salam and the label’s musicians and famous producers : Dub Shepherds.
On this release you will be able to hear the great spanish singer Marcus I who appeared already on the latest Pinnacle Sound releases. I Fi is also a regular singer for Pinnacle Sound : his story gets us immediatly in the mood of his beloved Jamaica island and its inhabitants. The meeting would not have been complete without the unique style of Jolly Joseph who shares a nice 60’s vibes on the B side.
